Yesterday, right after my morning post, I accidentally knocked my coffee over.
Instant mess. Instant pause.

I could’ve made it mean something.
Instead, I cleaned it up, made another cup, and chose to stay present.

This morning reminded me why that choice matters.
Same life. New perspective.
Sometimes the win isn’t avoiding the mess, it’s not letting it steal the moment. 🤍

I want to take a moment to highlight Megan, the heart behind the Joy Wellness Center.

She created this space with such intention, a place to give, grow, receive, and simply be. Her love for yoga, mindfulness, and community really shines through everything she offers.

The Joy Wellness Fair is a celebration of that vision and of creating a space where people can come together, reconnect, and feel supported.

So grateful for people like Megan who say yes to creating something meaningful for our town 🤍

Apparently, glowing requires looking a little unhinged first 😆

Healing taught me balance.
Nourishment and tradition. Discipline and joy.
You don’t have to abandon yourself to be healthy, and you don’t have to abandon culture, family, or pleasure to heal.

Today looks like sourdough bubbling over, masks on my face, food on the stove, sweet bread on the table, and laughter in the room.

This is what integration looks like. ❤️

Day 7 The brain and heart don’t measure pain the way we do.

Healing doesn’t erase your story.

It softens the emotional weight your body has been carrying.

I’ll be offering a free, gentle process to neutralize the emotional charge of a negative memory. It helps the nervous system release stored pain while keeping the wisdom that made you who you are.

This allows more of you to show up, instead of old survival responses.

In 10 days, our town is welcoming a brand new wellness space, and I’m so excited to be part of its very first community gathering.

The Joy Wellness Fair is about connection, local practitioners, small businesses, and remembering that healing happens in community.

I’ll be there gifting candles and offering a simple nervous-system reset that takes less than a minute.

Lately I’ve been wondering if it’s wrong to want distance from ‘reality.’
If it’s okay to float between worlds,
to rest in the in-between,
the worlds I’m in.

I asked the redwoods.

They didn’t pull me back or push me forward.
They didn’t tell me to decide.
They reminded me that grounding doesn’t always mean staying present in the way the world defines it.
Sometimes it means listening.
Sometimes it means integrating.
Sometimes it means returning slowly, with more truth in your body than before.
Honoring the season I’m in. 🌲
