In addition to professional experience, many of Arizona Care Hospice’s staff have also been family members and care givers of those faced with a life-limiting illness; they have had first-hand experience of the challenges that can be associated with discussing end-of-life care options with loved ones, and that often accompany making the decision to choose hospice over curative medical treatments as a care option.
Arizona Care Hospice opened in Fountain Hills in August 2015, expanding into the Payson area in November 2016.
