One of my favorite things about being virtual assistant is working with my clients.
Now before you move on and say "thats so cliche" let me tell you WHY I work with the clients I do...
My clients are inspiring, and kind and generous...
They are doers and trail blazers...
But more importantly... they have BIG HEARTS.
You see, I get to witness so many things that most of their communities don't... . .
I get to see their hearts broken wide open... . .
I am there when they are frustrated and want to give up, when throwing in the towel would be easier, but they never do. . .
They get right back up! . .
Why? Because of their big hearts! . .
Each of my clients are on a mission to change something in the world. . .
Each of them want to make an impact. . .
And each and everyone of them are killing it! . .
So here's to my clients, because connecting with people like them inspires me to keep trekking along on this road of entrepreneurship. . .

Just as my hot chocolate needs some french vanilla creamer in order for it to be the perfect drink, my website update could use a few more finishing touches before it’s good to go.
This week, my plan is to finish mapping out my signature service so I can be sure to accurately describe on my website what it is that I help small business owners accomplish.
Please tell me I’m not the only one who’s *extra* when it comes to releasing something big. Are you with me?!

Who likes FREE stuff?! Well...EVERYONE, of course!


It’s National Random Acts of Kindness Day and I’m challenging each of you to show some extra love to a stranger today.


I’ll never forget the first time someone in line ahead of me purchased my order. On a particularly rough day, a little after noon, I got a phone call from my mom that she was headed to the hospital with my sister. I quickly wrapped up helping a friend with her photoshoot, canceled my afternoon/evening of prenatal and postpartum visits, put my back up on alert (for those of you who don't know, I am also a Doula) and headed to my parents house to take care of the siblings that remained at home. Knowing I was not going to have the time to whip up dinner for 8 hungry mouths to feed I stopped by Taco Bell (who doesn't love tacos?) to grab an assortment of tacos. Imagine my surprise when I came to the window and the whole meal had been paid for! I am not talking one small combo either. Just goes to show how incredible one small act can be!

I don’t need to remind you that it’s almost Valentine’s Day and the whole world is plastered with pink hearts and cupids!
But what does V-Day mean to you? Is it A: a commercialized, sappy joke B: The loveliest love-filled day of the year or C: An excuse to stalk up on all things chocolate?
This year, I’m planning to get comfy in my PJ's with a bowl of chocolate covered strawberries and watch a romcom.

Nothing like seeing your local Target all overrun with heart-shaped chocolates and paper valentine cards to get you feeling in the mood for love, right?

It’s truth time....technology edition!


On National Clean Out Your Computer Day, tell me the state of your files: A: Everything is organized in properly labeled folders; B: Cluttered, but you know where everything is; or C: In complete disarray.


I’m not going to lie, my computer is a good mix between A & B. A clean desktop keeps me sane!


But I will admit, most of my files stay in my 'Downloads' folder until they are either deleted or placed on my external drive (which looks example A).


So how about you, friend! Tell the truth!
