🌟 Care Campaign Spotlight: Meet Christine Long 🌟

Meet Christine Long, a true example of growth, resilience, and compassion within our Modivcare family.

Christine began her journey in 2013 as a caregiver, driven by her natural connection to the elderly and her passion for helping others. Her early days were fast paced, managing multiple clients and traveling wherever care was needed, but she embraced every opportunity to make a difference.

What she loved most about caregiving was the connection. “If you take the time to listen, you can learn so much,” she shared, recognizing how meaningful it is simply to be present for those in need.

Over the years, Christine has grown through several roles, from caregiver to Care Coordinator, recruiter, and now Intake Coordinator, continuing to expand her impact across the organization. She credits mentors like Pat Shellene for encouraging her growth along the way.

Today, Christine plays a key role in supporting teams and helping streamline processes, all while staying committed to what matters most, giving back to communities in need.

Her advice:
“Always believe that you can and you will.”

🌟 Care Campaign Spotlight: Meet Tasha Jones 🌟
Meet Tasha Jones, a true example of growth, compassion, and dedication within our Panhandle Support Services family.

Tasha began her caregiving journey in 2018 while caring for her in-laws, which quickly turned into a passion for helping others. She later supported multiple clients across West Virginia and consistently went above and beyond. During a time when the water was contaminated, Tasha brought water to her clients on her own, showing the kind of heart and initiative that defines great caregivers.

In her early days, Tasha learned how important it was to understand each client’s routine and preferences. Once she found her rhythm, she discovered how rewarding it was to simply be there for others and provide support, whether it was in the care plan or not.

Over the years, Tasha has grown within the company, starting as a caregiver, becoming a Care Coordinator in 2023, and now serving as a Branch Supervisor in 2025. She credits Christen Welch for being a strong source of support and guidance throughout her journey.

Today, Tasha enjoys the fast-paced nature of her role while continuing to make a difference by supporting both clients and caregivers and building connections in the community.
Her advice to others is simple: be confident, embrace change, and give yourself grace as you grow.

🌟Care Campaign Spotlight: Meet Anthony Ramik🌟

Meet Anthony Ramik, a true example of growth, compassion, and dedication within our Modivcare family.

Anthony’s caregiving journey began in 2009, driven by a genuine love for helping others and sharing kindness. Inspired by his mother, a nurse who encouraged him towards healthcare, Anthony originally planned to become an RN. When that path was unexpectedly disrupted, he earned his CNA certification and spent several years working in long term care, where he quickly discovered how meaningful it was to support people who truly needed care.

Anthony recalls feeling intimidated during his first days as a caregiver, stepping into a role with significant responsibility. However, the impact of helping others and the strong bonds he built with fellow caregivers kept him coming back each day. “At the end of the day, it felt like a full day,” he shared. “One that mattered.”

Over the years, Anthony has grown through a wide range of roles across caregiving, operations, leadership, and corporate teams. He joined Caregivers America in 2021 and now serves as a Program Manager, where he focuses on improving processes and driving operational and financial efficiency through data analytics across PCS. He credits mentors like Maylynn Peters and Brian Partin for encouraging his growth and supporting his continued learning.

Anthony’s advice to caregivers who want to grow within the company reflects his journey. “If your heart is in the right place and you feel you have more to offer, grow with Modivcare and help advocate for caregivers and members.”

We had a great time visiting North Shore Community College and connecting with the community! 💙

One of our amazing coordinators, Idelky, represented Multicultural Home Care and enjoyed meeting with students and community members to share information about our services, career opportunities, and our mission of providing compassionate care.

🌟Care Campaign Spotlight: Meet Cheryl Root 🌟

Cheryl is a great example of growth and dedication within our Modivcare family. Cheryl joined A&B Homecare Solutions in 2020 as a Caregiver after deciding she wanted more than a career in retail. She wanted to make a difference, especially during the height of COVID.

Starting with simpler cases, Cheryl quickly found her passion in taking on more complex clients, ensuring they had their medications, groceries, and the support they needed to stay safe at home.

Cheryl’s hard work led her to grow through multiple roles, including Caregiver of the Year in 2022, Care Coordinator in 2023, and now Employee Support Specialist. She credits mentors like Kelly Taylor for supporting her along the way.
Today, Cheryl supports both caregivers and clients while helping shape a newer role within Connecticut.

Her advice for others looking to grow?

“Go for it. Put your most effort in. I never expected to be where I am now when I applied five years ago.”

🌟Care Campaign Spotlight: Meet Clemeiry Martinez 🌟

Clemeiry is a powerful example of dedication, compassion, and growth within our CareFinders family. 💙

Her caregiving journey began in 2012, when she joined us as a caregiver after earning her HHA license. Caring for others was always her calling. She originally went to school for PCA, but after becoming a new mom and needing a more flexible schedule, she turned to home care and quickly found her purpose.

Her first week wasn’t easy. She supported several bedbound clients, stepping in with nerves but also with heart. Once she connected with her first client, everything shifted. She realized just how meaningful her work was, and she loved knowing she could bring comfort to someone who truly relied on her.

Over the years, Clemeiry continued to grow. She became a Receptionist in 2014 and soon after moved into the role she proudly holds today, a Care Coordinator. She credits leaders like Katy and Fatima for supporting and guiding her along the way.

Now, as a Care Coordinator, she loves matching the right aide with the right client and seeing the difference it makes. She’s even received letters from caregivers thanking her for believing in them, something she never takes for granted.

Her advice for anyone hoping to grow is simple:
“Always say yes, unless you truly can’t. Be willing to help, that’s what this field is all about.”
