CrossFit Shakerag After spending time in our facility and with our team we want our members to walk out of our doors a Crossfit Shakrag uses the word “we” because we are a unit.

Here at Crossfit Shakerag, we believe we can do hard things. This is the statement we live by and the culture we create within the gym. As we grapple with this thing called “living,” we encounter unknowns. And more than a workout, Crossfit prepares you for the unknown. We have a supernatural ability to adapt, overcome and learn. We do hard things because they must be done and hope in doing them, something better awaits us. At Shakerag we seek progress in the gym and in every area of our lives. We are a tribe. We are a community. When you join our gym, you join the “we.” You join a group of people that will see you at your best and your worst. That will be there everyday. Constant companions. A community that will simultaneously help you through hard workouts and hard times in life. You will find friends that challenge you, that push you, that comfort you, that help carry your burdens. A group of people that can do hard things. We are our own everyday heroes. We are the people we’ve been waiting for: pilots, teachers, nurses, therapists, officers, business men and women, moms, dads, daughters, sons and everything in between. When you feel like not showing up for class or for life, remember that we can do hard things. When you are faced with a workout or situation that seems insurmountable, remember that we can do hard things. When you are fearful and it seems impossible, remember that we can do hard things. When the workout or life challenges you, remember that we can do hard things. Today, you did what very few people in the world attempt in their lives. When you have done a hard Crossfit workout, facing the unknown will be easier because...we do hard things. Every day.

let’s talk about what usually happens right after Halloween…
We dive into the candy bowl, then Thanksgiving hits, then Christmas cookies… and before we know it, we say, ‘I’ll get back on track in January.’

But here’s the thing — the holidays don’t have to be ‘all or nothing.’ You can enjoy the treats and still feel good in your body.

Here’s how:
✅ Don’t skip your workouts — even if it’s shorter, still show up. Momentum matters more than perfection.
✅ Eat the candy — but not instead of real meals. Protein and veggies first, treat after.
✅ Set mini goals for November & December — like 3 workouts a week or 8K steps a day.
✅ Get right back on track after one off day — don’t let one fun night turn into 8 weeks off.

This is the time of year most people fall off… but it’s also the time winners stay consistent.

So enjoy the holidays — just don’t disappear. Keep showing up. Future you will thank you

Simply put, CrossFit Shakerag’s mission is to help you, “Change Your Life With Us.” After spending time in our facility and with our team we want our members to walk out of our doors after a workout and feel like they are better version of themselves.

It isn’t the scientific sum of calories, workouts and weight that keeps our members returning. It is not the cutting edge equipment and technology. It is the people that count.

Our team cares about guiding and encouraging each and every member to obtain the goals they seek for themselves. Our members’ goals are specific and if we can assist in that journey to realizing their aspirations then we have truly helped them change their life.
