What an incredible turnout!

Events like this remind us how powerful our recovery community is when we come together with a shared mission — helping as many people as possible find freedom from the disease of addiction. Collaboration across organizations is how we expand access to care, strengthen support systems, and ultimately save lives.

A huge thank you to Georgia Recovery Campus for co-hosting alongside Samba Recovery and helping bring everyone together.

We are also grateful for the amazing partners who showed up and continue doing the work every day:
Evoraa Healthcare • Twin Lakes Recovery Center • Southern Live Oak Wellness • Promises Behavioral Health • Tangu Recovery • Counterpoint Recovery • The Summit Wellness Group • Fairland Recovery Center • Banyan Treatment Centers

It’s inspiring to stand alongside so many dedicated professionals who are committed to recovery and changing lives in our communities.

Looking forward to continuing the collaboration. 💙

Had a really meaningful conversation with Ryan Helton (aka Biggie😉) over at Purple. I’m genuinely grateful to see him in a place where he can fully be himself and align with an organization that values authenticity the way he does. He’s truly one of the good ones in this field, and I’m thankful we get to continue building our relationship both personally and professionally. Samba Recovery is grateful to have a community partner like you, brother, as am I. Thanks for the tour of PURPLE Recovery!

Samba Recovery was grateful to be part of ARAD 2026 in Atlanta—an incredible day that highlighted the strength, unity, and forward momentum of Georgia’s recovery community. From meaningful conversations with peers and partners to impactful advocacy under the Gold Dome, the message was clear: recovery is alive, voices are being heard, and real change is happening.

Seeing individuals, organizations, and policymakers stand together in support of families impacted by addiction was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when collaboration leads the way. These moments matter. They break stigma, elevate lived experience, and help advance policies that expand access to care and save lives.

We’re especially thankful that our fearless leader, Josh Bamberger, joined in on the day as well—always showing up for the recovery community. Grateful for everyone who showed up, spoke up, and continues to lead with hope and purpose. This is what community-driven recovery looks like.

Completing aftercare is one of the strongest predictors of long-term recovery success for people with Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Treatment provides the foundation — aftercare maintains it, strengthens it, and protects it.

💙 At Samba Recovery, we don’t just help people get well—we help them stay well.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) — Intensive Clinical Support with Real-World Practice

As clients continue to gain stability, our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides the next level of care—offering highly structured, therapeutic support throughout the day while promoting a gradual transition back into everyday life. When paired with structured housing, clients are able to build and practice essential life skills in a safe, supportive, and clinically supervised environment.

Goal: Maintain clinical intensity while giving clients opportunities to practice recovery skills outside of a fully residential setting.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) — Ongoing Support While Fully Re-Entering Daily Life

IOP provides continued accountability, therapy, and community support as clients return to work, family, and daily responsibilities.

Goal: Strengthen long-term recovery, prevent relapse, and provide ongoing guidance during life’s transitions.

A step-down model of care is proven to reduce relapse risk and improve long-term outcomes. Each level prepares the client for the next, ensuring:
· More stability
· Stronger Coping Skills
· Greater insight into triggers
· Ongoing clinical support
· A smoother transition back into everyday life
· A higher chance of sustained, meaningful recovery
