New patients often walk into our Atlanta pain office hoping we can help, but without the details we need. That can slow things down or mean extra visits to gather missing information.
Before your first appointment, collect any spine or joint imaging reports, surgical notes, and a list of every medication and supplement you take, including past pain medicines that did or did not help. Write down when your pain started, what makes it worse, and what you have already tried.
Bring your ID, insurance card, and completed new patient forms if you filled them out at home. Coming prepared lets our doctors spend more time understanding your pain and less time tracking down paperwork.
If you are unsure what records you have or need, our staff can walk you through it before your visit.
