CBD COLORS EXPLAINED
There are many CBD brands that claim their CBD tinctures are "Full Spectrum" but please beware that "Full Spectrum" oil is not clear or light yellow colored.
The varying colors of CBD depend on a few factors including, what carrier oil is used (MCT, grapefruit oil, etc.), and the extraction process (CO2, butane, distilled, RSO). These colors range from clear (Isolate/pure CBD) to dark brown or green (Full Spectrum CBD).
Different carrier oils can turn a CBD isolate a green color but typically if the carrier oil is MCT (coconut oil), a dark green or brown color indicates true Full Spectrum, whole h**p CBD.
Luma uses Full Spectrum, whole h**p CBD which contains over 10 different cannabinoids and terpenes. Brands shy away from true Full Spectrum because the flavor differs from each strain of cannabis used. Luma combines both indica and saliva strains to provide a balance of happy and calming cannabinoids while using all natural essential oils for flavoring.
