10 years ago, ZPD was just an idea. I opened this practice while pregnant with my first child, full of excitement for what was ahead.
Shortly after, my son was diagnosed with a rare bone condition, Osteogenesis Imperfecta, and life changed in ways I never expected.
Hurricane Harvey destroyed my office along with so many other businesses in our community just a few short months later, but we rebuilt ZPD from the ground up.
A few years later, while pregnant with my second child, the COVID-19 Pandemic forced us to close our doors again.
It has truly been a whirlwind of a decade.
But through every challenge, this community — this village — surrounded us with love and support, allowing us to come back each time stronger than before.
Today, I’m incredibly proud to celebrate ten years of this practice, and so grateful for everyone who has been part of the journey to make us feel “on top of the world” every single day.
I can’t wait to see what the next ten years bring.
