The Herpes Saga...

A couple of y'all asked about my Cold Sore/Fever Blister/Herpes Baby

Don't be embarrassed! Yes, Herpes Simplex is ANNOYING AS F**K! But the fact is, almost 3/4 of the population carries the virus. Many of us were espoused in childhood, and a lot of people carry the virus but don't ever, or very rarely exhibit symptoms.

FACTS: Globally, about 67% of people under age 50 are infected with the herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1), which causes cold sores, according to the World Health Organization. In the United States, 50% to 80% of adults have oral herpes and nearly 90% of adults have been exposed to the virus by age 50. Many people are infected but never develop symptoms, while others experience frequent outbreaks.

It happens! It doesn't make you dirty! I hate that stigma!

BUT, its annoying, and it can be painful.

Long story short, my lips get chapped when the weather gets cold, I'm lazy about chapstick, and I get a couple cold sores every Winter. I decided to put a natural remedy together for myself, and in the process of me sharing my cold sore to make it funny for others, not embarrassing, people started asking about the remedy.

GOOD NEWS IS I'm formulating it in a larger batch so I can start offering it.

As you can see from the pictures below, I didn't have any spreading or "blooming" into multiple sores, or get the stage where they start to look like a burn.

This has been a pain free experience because of the Clove oil
Its cooling because of the Peppermint
I didn't have any viral replication or spreading because of the Tea Tree & Manuka
I didn't get dried out, nasty scabs because of the Aloe
The gel soaked in quickly because of the Hyaluronic Acid
It created a protective barrier because of the Aloe and other botanicals I used
And I won't scar because the Manuka extract is the ultimate wound healer
It doesn't taste terrible and all you smell is ther peppermint
