Another famous one “If you think you can or you can’t, you’re right.” -Henry Ford
Most of the battles you have are mental. When you think about it, it’s the toughest thing to battle. When you find ways to convince yourself otherwise, you tend to feel better. You didn’t want to exercise. But you feel great after you do it. Then you have to fight that same fight again next time. It’s up to you to be healthy, successful, joyful. Change your mind if you’re in a slump and get moving. 😃

If you’ve stopped, start again. No shame in that. There’s only shame when you completely quit. So start again tomorrow. Set the alarm and show up! Bring a friend who you know might be struggling.

Shout Out to Sean who completed his 300th workout in just 2 years with D-Fit Hybrid Training ! He has put in the work both physically and mentally. Way to go Sean!
You can talk yourself into and out of anything. When it’s cold you can talk yourself into being mentally strong and going to exercise. Or you can be weak and stay snuggled up in bed. Being mentally strong allows you to be physically strong when it comes to exercise.
When you are mentally strong, you can be spiritually strong and resist the weaknesses that you would normally fall prey to.
Being mentally strong is the hardest thing because it takes repetition over and over and OVER to say “I can” or “I will”. You can’t just say it one time and expect it to become a habit.
Does a child learn to ride a bike after trying it once? No
They have to practice it over and over again. But even when they’re older they still might fall off sometime. But then they dust themselves off, get mentally strong, and go again.
So don’t expect to be mentally strong once and expect it to carry on forever. Choose it again, AGAIN and again.
Practice being mentally strong every day. Ask Jesus to help you be mentally strong - knowing he is going to give you opportunities to practice being mentally strong.

When you show up to your workout, you’ve made a better choice! If that workout is in the morning, you start off your day making good choices. Working out with a group of friends helps you make better choices. They hold you accountable. Working with a trainer keeps you accountable. What you do is who you become. Become someone stronger, greater and healthier by making good choices.

You work so hard each time you come out. You prioritize your health! You do better EVERY DAY! Every day there is a start line and a finish line, in between there is a battle of wills. When you prioritize your health, you conquer the battle of wills with confidence because of how good you feel from exercise and eating healthy. Would you ride a bike with only one pedal? You can get places with it that way, but you’d get there faster and feel better getting to where you need to go if you had both pedals.

You know why we are the best team? This group consistently averages about 7 workouts per month. A good number of them do 12-15. Those numbers show consistency compared to the average American who only gets 4 per month. If you do 3 workouts a week with D-FIT, you surpass the average easily. We don’t always go hard. We focus on consistency, range of motion, proper form, flexibility and encouragement. These will sustain you for life. We have all ages, even 70s & 80s are getting it done! 🙌🏻 Lack of time? 5am is a great time! Come check us out!

There’s always a good time to be had when working out. It’s how you look at it that matters whether you’ll keep going or not. When you are lifted up at your workout, you’re more likely to show up again. Especially if it’s the only place in your life at the time where you will get positivity. What (and how much) you feed your mind is what your character will be. Just like what (and how much) you feed your body, determines what your body will look like. Lots of unhealthy food = illness, health problems and overweight. Lots of positivity going in = optimistic view on things and more joy.
