The MK Center-What Drives Us

The MK Center was born out of our founder's passion for individuals who suffer from substance use disorder. Marlon Martin has dedicated the last 24 years of his life to serving individuals who have found themselves drifting off of the path of their purpose. Through working with individuals who have been affected by the disease of addiction, he has witnessed the dissolve of the family, individuals who once had hoped, are now hopeless. The effects of lost dreams have hindered individuals, and when they have managed to get their lives back on track, still suffering from the residual effects of the traumatic events that had happened in their lives.

The MK Centers focus on restoration encompasses assisting individuals in regaining their place in society, establishing the mental capacity and fitness to manage their lives in the midst of everyday life, and the spiritual astuteness to maintain the focus they need to propel their lives to a brighter future. The MK Center believes that conflict in life comes to strengthen us and not destroy us. Helping individuals to understand and manage how life challenges will come and teaching tools to manage life will lay the foundation for the healthy and successful outcome.
