Hamstring strains can happen in an instant! ⚽️🏃♂️
This patient was playing soccer when he slowed down during a run and felt a pop in the back of his leg just above the knee — a classic hamstring strain.
Since it happened the day before, we started treatment right away to help control pain and support the healing process.
Treatment included:
• Electrical stimulation to reduce pain and irritation
• Light range-of-motion exercises to keep the muscle moving
• Rehab exercises to prevent the hamstring from tightening up
• Kinesiology taping for support and swelling control
Early treatment is key with injuries like this. When addressed quickly, recovery can often take weeks instead of months.
