This past Thursday evening, we held our annual elections for the 2026 Board of Directors.

Help us wish Anai Juarez a happy birthday, and welcome her into Senior Corps! 🥳

Anai joined PCVAC youth corps in the summer of 2025 and served as the recording secretary. Although Anai may be small, she has a huge personality. Whether it’s telling an elaborate story or conversing with members, the room’ never silent when Anai is in it.

We hope that you have a great birthday, and can’t wait to see everything you accomplish as a senior corps member.

At approximately 5AM this morning, 75B4 responded to the Goat Trail just before the Bear Mountain Bridge for a rollover MVA. The vehicle had fishtailed and hit the rocks on the side of the road causing the vehicle to flip on its side. Thankfully the occupants were not seriously injured and were able to safely extricate from the vehicle to be transported to local trauma Center.

While the snow may create a winter wonderland, it can also create slippery and dangerous road. As we move into the winter season, use caution while driving in snow. Do not use excessive speed, and if possible avoid travel.

Last Saturday PCVAC members kicked off the holiday season with one of our favorite events, the Yorktown Light Parade. Senior Corps and Youth Corps members decorated 75B1, 75U1, and car 7507 with lights and paraded down the streets of Yorktown. Leading our parade was the Grinch, being pulled on a new sleigh… or should we say stretcher
