Are you seeing plants with green oval leaves and red berries in a wooded area? You might have invasive bush honeysuckle.

- This highly invasive woody shrub can grow to over 15 feet tall and form dense thickets that block native plants from growing
- The red berries fruit in September and October and are transported by birds to new areas
- In the fall, you can remove bush honeysuckle by cutting it at the base and applying an herbicide to the stump. Controlled burns can also be effective at slowing its spread in fire-resistant ecosystems.

A.M. Fulton creates heartwarming coloring books and gentle stories inspired by life on her Midwest farm, where every sunrise is greeted by a chorus of ducks, geese, and chickens. Her books celebrate simple joys — creativity, nature, and the charm of farm life — through art meant to inspire calm, kindness, and connection.

When she isn’t sketching scenes of feathered friends or dreaming up new farm adventures, you’ll find her caring for rescued birds at Adventure Ahead Farm Fowl Rescue, a sanctuary she founded to give abandoned and unwanted farm fowl a safe forever home.

Proceeds from every A.M. Fulton book help support the rescue — feeding the flock, building coops, and spreading a little more hope, one feather at a time.
