For the month of January, the MHSAA, in partnership with Elite Physical Therapy continues the Athletic Trainer Spotlight Program by recognizing Cody Shaw!

This month, in partnership with Elite Physical Therapy, the MHSAA is proud to shine the spotlight on Cody Shaw, an athletic trainer with Performance Therapy. Cody graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2010 with a degree in athletic training, then continued his education and earned his master’s degree in athletic administration in 2012.

Following graduate school, Cody began his career in the collegiate setting, serving Pearl River Community College until 2020. He eventually found his way to Brandon, Mississippi, and now supports student-athletes at Pelahatchie and Pisgah High Schools. He is well known in both communities for the exceptional care he provides to all of his “kids.”
