COMMISION meeting has been changed to tomorrow night at 6. Tuesday March 25th.

So I went to the court house today and talked to the Mayor and Commisioner Brewer. Monday night the meeting will consist of the commissioners, the Whites Lawyer, the Doctors, the county Lawyer and the IDB. It is an informational meeting where the IDB and the lawyers and the Whites go over the proposal with the Commissioners and they discuss what all the Whites need to get this going. The in lieu of taxes is not off the table, the commission is for the medical center, they just didn't have the information or the proposal in a timely manner the other night to make a decision. That is why it is was voted down. They stress the point that they want to help this proposal along. There will be no vote on the 10th. Again It is an discussion and information meeting only. I think we should wait to go support the Whites at the meetings where they make the decision and vote.

Great news. The IDB board and the Commissioners are working diligently to help the Dr. WHITES achieve the dream of the Medical Center! Stay tuned, good things coming!

Everyone!!!! It's been a while since we posted but I just got word that the IDB meeting is the 17th of this month. No time yet. I'll update when I get it. We need to go support the Doctors.

Let's continue to support the doctors. Dr. Lisa White and Dr. Lydia White are gonna need as much support as we can give them in the coming month to make this process and future medical facility a go in the community

Our own Dr. Lydia White was selected by the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee to be a TeamUSA Sports Medicine Team Physician. As part of her responsibilities, she traveled to the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO, where she cared for Olympians, Paralympians, and Olympic hopefuls as they trained and competed at the United States' state of the art sports facilities.
