π Meet the Main Street Pediatrics Providers π
You see them in our halls and exam rooms every day, now weβre excited to officially introduce them here on Facebook!
Each week, weβll be spotlighting one of the amazing doctors and nurse practitioners who care for your children at Main Street Pediatrics π
This week, weβre featuring Rhonda Coker, CRNP
β¨ Fun fact: When sheβs not caring for our patients, you can usually find her curled up with a good book. She may be short, but her compassion and dedication to families are anything but!π©·
I have worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2019. I graduated from UAB's MSN-FNP program in 2018, the ADN program at Gadsden State Community College in 2006, and earned a BS in an unrelated field from Southern Adventist College in 1989. I spent over 13 years working as a staff nurse on medical/surgical units and as an End Stage Renal Disease nurse. My time working with dialysis patients was what spurred me to pursue a Master's Degree in Nursing. My goal is to prevent as many people as possible from ending up on dialysis, by teaching the importance of controlling blood sugar levels and blood pressure levels through diet and lifestyle changes, and with medication if needed.
Weβre so thankful for the compassion, knowledge, and dedication Rhonda Coker brings to our families every day.
π¬ Say hello in the comments!ππ
