We loved making the dinosaur "roar" today, just like the one on our shirt! Using a child's preferred toy helps increase speech because the child is more motivated and engaged. This also allows for the SLP to model language and encourage conversation through play.

We used a coloring activity today in Speech to target multiple goals with several friends! This craft helped us idenify colors, work on following directions, and even target some of our speech sounds!

Handwriting doesn’t have to be hard and stressful - Using other mediums as opposed to a pencil and paper, such as using a wet sponge to erase chalk, can help promote fine and visual motor skills in a more fun and motivating way!
