Our dear friends have suffered such losses. Please give them grace as they navigate through their new normal.

A sister is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost

The couple weeks have been incredibly difficult for our Restore Health Collaborative team.

Our receptionist, Kaitlin Early Taylor , suddenly lost her sister after a long battle with breast cancer, just when things had been looking hopeful. She had to step away immediately to be with her family. Kaitlin manages scheduling, phones, coordination, supplies, and the daily flow of the clinic, so her absence was deeply felt.

At the same time, our nurse practitioner, Charity Carstensen, experienced the unexpected loss of her sister, followed shortly by her mother being taken by ambulance to the hospital for serious breathing complications. Charity also had to immediately step away and has been away caring for her family during this very difficult time. As the provider who sees patients, orders labs, manages prescriptions, and answers clinical questions, her absence has almost brought us to a halt.

With both Kaitlin and Charity out, it has not been possible for our office to function at our normal capacity. You may have experienced difficulty reaching us, delays in responses, or the need to reschedule appointments, and we are truly sorry for any frustration this has caused.

Kaitlin is now back in the office and working hard to get schedules reorganized and communication caught up. Charity is not fully back in clinic yet, but we are actively opening new appointment dates and working through the rescheduling process as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience, your prayers, and your compassion for our team during this time. Your support means more than we can express as we care for our staff and their families.
