The Pender Community Hospital Auxiliary is excited to bring back our annual Gift Basket Raffle! 🎁✨

From December 15–23, you can stop by the hospital lobby to view all the beautifully assembled baskets. During this time, tickets will be available for purchase from our hospital greeter—3 for $5, 8 for $10, or 20 for $20.

Winners will be drawn on December 23 at 12:00 PM in the hospital lobby. You don’t need to be present to win, so feel free to drop your tickets in and go about your day.

Thank you for supporting the Auxiliary and the work they do to enhance patient care in our community. Good luck to everyone who enters!

As winter settles in, it’s a good time to make sure you and your family are protected from seasonal respiratory illnesses. Staying up to date on vaccines is one of the best ways to stay healthy.

Recommended this season:
• Flu – yearly for everyone 6+ months
• COVID-19 – especially older adults and those with chronic conditions
• Prevnar – adults 65+, young children, and those with certain health needs
• Tdap – starting at age 11, with boosters every 10 years; especially important for pregnant women and anyone around newborns

We’re excited to share that 8 babies were welcomed into the world at Pender Community Hospital this November — 5 boys and 3 girls!
Our tiniest newborn weighed 6 lbs 4 oz, and our biggest arrived at 8 lbs 11 oz. 💕
