As of May 1, new updates to Medicaid in Nebraska will include work requirements for some individuals. These changes may impact coverage for many families across our communities.

To help make things easier to understand, the Nebraska Hospital Association has launched a new bilingual website: MedicaidNebraska.com

This resource offers simple, step-by-step guidance to help current members and new applicants:
✔ Understand the new Medicaid requirements
✔ Know what actions may be needed to keep coverage
✔ Find answers in both English and Spanish

🚧 Travel Alert: Road Construction Between Pender & Bancroft 🚧

Construction is underway on NE-16 between County Road W51 (near Bancroft) and NE-9, with traffic reduced to one lane. A pilot car and flaggers are guiding vehicles through the area, which may cause delays. A 12-foot width restriction is also in place.

If you’re heading to an appointment with us, please allow a little extra time to arrive safely. If you need to adjust your appointment time, please give us a call. We’re here to help.

Pender Community Hospital is partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Siouxland to introduce a Ronald McDonald Family Kitchen—offering meals, snacks, and a welcoming space for families staying close to a child receiving care.

It’s one more way we’re helping families focus on what matters most: being together.
