Pender Medical Clinic & Apothecary will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccine booster clinic on Wednesday, December 1st from 10AM - 6PM at the Pender Community Center. We will be offering Moderna booster vaccines at this clinic.

Aligned with the nationwide rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine, Pender Community Hospital (PCH) is currently in Phase 1A of distribution. This means healthcare workers, long-term care residents and other medical-related essential staff are now receiving the vaccine.

• Think you may qualify to receive the vaccine in Phase 1A, contact your local public health department.

What’s next?
At this time, Pender Community Hospital and Medical Clinics have not started to vaccinate patients. The State of Nebraska anticipates that PCH can move into Phase 1B—vaccinating those age 75 and older, and essential workers—within the next two to three weeks.

Phase 1B, as well as preceding phases (see the NDHHS tentative Vaccination Timeline), will be dependent upon vaccine distribution. The goal is to ensure fair access, and to distribute the vaccine in a way that provides the most protection for Nebraskans as quickly as possible.

Is there a waiting list?
While PCH is not compiling a COVID-19 vaccine “list,” the NDHHS will launch a new website in the coming weeks. The site will be designed to help Nebraskans register for a COVID-19 vaccination, and receive updates, scheduling information and follow-up reminders.
