Blue Mountain Foot Specialists Medical and Surgical Doctors of the Feet. This is a Podiatry practice serving the Pendleton and surrounding areas of Eastern Oregon.

We treat all problems affecting your feet. This may include plantar warts, ingrown nails, hammertoes, corns, callouses, fractures, strains, sprains, plantar fascitis, bone spurs, diabetic wounds and wound management. We have surgical privileges at St Anthony Hospital and the East Oregon Surgical Center as well as a surgical suite in our building. We accept Medicare, Medicaid and all local insurances. We need a friendly, dependable and hard-working full time medical assistant, to join our foot care team.

Performs duties under supervision of a Podiatric Physician including (but not limited to) - patient interviews, taking vital sign, recording information in patient's charts (paper and electronic), sending in electronic prescriptions, preparing treatment rooms for examination of patients, setting up procedure trays, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, stocking medical supplies. assisting with minor surgical procedures, dispensing durable medical equipment (DME) and operating diagnostic equipment.

Occasional travel to outside clinics will be needed.

Compensation is based on experience.

Experience:

High school graduation or GED.
MA / CNA certification preferred, or at least one year of recent experience working as an MA in a clinical setting.
Experience with EMR, medical terminology, ICD-10, HIPAA, hands-on patient care, and sterile technique.
