Her thoughtful teaching and therapeutic approach bring such a grounding energy to our community.

If you’re an early bird, join her Vinyasa Flow on Mondays at 6 a.m. This class offers a great way to move, breathe, and reset before the day begins.

And keep an eye out for her Restore, Meditate & Breathe pop-up classes — they’re a lovely chance to unwind your nervous system and treat yourself to deep rest.

Hear from Libby, one of our longtime students, about why she keeps coming back to PYC:

“I took up yoga after nearly 40 years in a fast-paced career. I wanted to slow down, quiet my mind, and improve my balance and flexibility. And I gained all this and more.”

🌿 Her studio experience:
Libby found a safe space at PYC to try something new — and discovered a community that has become deeply important to her. She’s gained strength, confidence, and a remarkable peace of mind that carries her beyond the studio. “It feels like home. Even when we travel, I miss my yoga home. The instructors are supportive, the classes varied, and I feel positive change every time I step on my mat.”

🌿 Her advice for new students:
“Just sign up for a short trial. Don’t worry about getting it perfect. Instructors provide modifications and a supportive environment. Yoga for anybody is a great place to start. Two years later, it’s still one of my favorite classes.”

🌿Gentle Morning Practice for Body & Mind 🌿
A short sequence by our teacher, Casey Certain, to help you begin your day with breath, movement, and intention.

You can do this before you get out of bed in the morning~

Step 1: Body Scan + Breath
Inhale fully, exhale slowly through the nose. Starting at the top of the head, scan down through your body. Notice what feels open and what feels tight. Imagine sending a healing light to any area that needs attention.

Step 2: Wind Release (Right + Left)
Gently pull your right knee toward your chest and breathe. Switch sides with the left knee. This simple move feels so good for the low back.

Step 3: Wind Release (Both Knees)
Hug both knees in. Rock side to side if it feels nice — like a little massage for your spine.

Step 4: Tick-Tock Knees
Place your feet down, arms long at your sides. Let your knees gently sway side to side with your breath. No rush.

Step 5: Fetal Pose
Roll into a cozy fetal pose. Pause, reset, breathe deeply.

Step 6: Cat-Cow
Come onto hands and knees. Inhale to arch, exhale to round. No need to count — let your breath guide the rhythm.

Step 7: Child’s Pose + Intention
Fold into child’s pose. Take a few breaths. Ask yourself: What is my intention for today? How do I want to move through it?

Even 10 minutes can reset your energy and help you show up for yourself. Try this tomorrow morning — your body and mind will thank you.

With the busy holiday season coming up, now is the perfect time to settle into a routine that can carry you through the chaos of the next few months.
