Your bloodwork can tell us a lot about what’s happening in your body! Her doctor wanted to jump to statins for her high cholesterol and metformin for her high glucose. But the real issue is she was under eating protein and not giving her body the proper nutrients to get rid of the glucose in her body, which was causing her cholesterol to rise in order to “protect her”.

So if you’re tired of taking medications or you don’t want to start taking medications, let me review your bloodwork so we can get to the bottom of WHY you are not feeling your best.

𝗪𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 (𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵) 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗼𝗼𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱. 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁. If I was struggling with gut issues, this is where I’d begin.

𝟭. 𝗘𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆. Now this doesn’t have to be an outrageously expensive supplement. Fiber is found in fruits & vegetables. So eating a variety of fruits & vegetables provides your digestive tract with the essential fiber!
𝟮. 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆. Your intestines are muscle. The muscles push your food through the digestive tract. Simple exercises such as walking or deep breathing help the digestive tract work better. So take 5-10 minutes to move your body.
𝟯. 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 & 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗲𝘀. The digestive tract is happier when it’s hydrated. Make sure to drink half your body weight in ounces of water per day. Then add in 1 electrolyte drink per day to speed things along.
