Our goal at Blue Door is to provide you with science based facts about our health and give you tools to understand and improve the body you've been given.

We don't offer many workshops, but when we do, they are very focused and pertinent to those attending.

Our Osteoporosis Workshop presented by Nicole Myers is a shining example of this. The review was submitted by a student who attended.

Blue Door Retreat 2026 is ready to book! Boho Manor April 27-30, 2026.

A gorgeous Gatsby inspired boutique hotel on the Russian River. Blue Door will be taking over the entire hotel from Monday thru Thursday. This all-inclusive retreat is intimate! Only 13 participants and one room has already sold, 13 spaces available.

This spring, women's, Kapha Rejuvenation Retreat includes yoga, wine tasting, an Ayurveda discussion presented by , yummy food, great company, luxurious spaces, stunning river views and access, s'mores by the fire pit, and time to reflect and rejuvenate.

Over the last couple of weeks I've been seeing a former student being pushed into my "suggested friends" on FB. I didn't want to friend her because I didn't want her to think I was pressuring her to come back.

In it I discuss stepping out of our comfort zones, practicing ahimsa, and the science behind kindness.

If our self-talk is negative it affects your physical and mental health. Negative thoughts trigger stress which leads to the release of cortisol, a hormone that can damage cells over time. Positive thinking? Does the exact opposite.

This week, carry your mantra as a reminder that wholeness comes from embracing all parts of yourself. On the mat or off, notice how strength and softness, effort and ease, light and shadow can exist together.
