Today I got reminded of these 3 things that ever go out of style. When I coach people on speaking, these 3 things have never changed.

1. Tell the truth about your journey. Don’t edit out the pain, show how you grew from it.

2. Show the process, not just the result. People don’t fall in love with the destination, they fall in love with the climb.

3. Speak from scars, not wounds. Teach from the healed version of your story, that’s where your authority lives.
