Remember that self-care is also going out and experiencing nature. Taking in those quiet moments without the noise of the world hounding you is crucial to your physical and mental well-being.
Put that phone on silent, go on a nature hike and let yourself just BE.

I have been thoroughly enjoying this book series as of late. If you're a fan of LitRPGs', this one is a fantastic example of the genre. It's silly and serious all at the same time.
(It's essentially about the apocalypse and people having to survive in an underground fantasy dungeon created by aliens... and there's a talking cat named Princess Donut!)
In an effort to try and introduce more people to this awesome series I had a crazy idea—an audiobook read-through of the series during your sessions!
If you're interested in giving it a shot, just mention this post to me at your next session and I'll happily throw it on for you to listen to while you relax!

If I described my job as "spending all day in a dark room with bodies on tables" you'd think I was a mortician.

It's like the difference between a jackhammer and a post thumper!
Both are available upon request during a massage, free of charge!

Self-care isn’t a luxury — it’s maintenance.
When stress builds up, your body keeps the score. Tight muscles, headaches, poor sleep.
Massage helps your body reset so you can feel like yourself again.
As a Pensacola-based massage therapist with 6 years of experience, I focus on helping you achieve your wellness goals through personalized, client-centered treatments. My approach is all about building rapport and treating each individual like family, not just another appointment.
With a 3-time "Best Massage Therapist" Runner Up title in Inweekly's "Best in Pensacola," I'm dedicated to providing top-notch care that gets results.
I've been seeing an increased amount of people showing up late for their appointments more recently...
The thing to remember is: massage, just like any other medical profession, has an alloted amount of time per session with a small break in between to get ready for the next client. If you show up late, that could cut into the next client's session.
If I have a big gap in between and showing up late doesn't affect me at all, I'll always make sure you get your time. But that may not always be the case, so be mindful of this!

Hi there, I’m Ben. I’m a partner to a badass therapist, stepfather to two teenage daughters, a native to the Pensacola area (and an Enneagram type 2/ INFP on Meyer’s Briggs… which means I was kind of predestined to become a helping healer).
After a decade in the service and bar industry, I knew I wanted a change – a more meaningful way of connecting with others. Massage was a natural choice as it offers me the opportunity to assist individuals looking to heal not only physical issues, but also embrace a more holistic and mindful way of living.
I truly believe that if human beings would only slow down a little, listen to their bodies more, and give permission to their soulful intuition to be the guiding force in decision making, they would find themselves ushered into a life that feels so much greater than mere existing.
I’m also extremely passionate about issues related to healthy masculinity, mindful living and sacred intimacy. Who says men can’t be both the warrior AND the nurturer? I love helping men embrace a lifestyle that is authentic to them and not what society says they should be.
So if you’re looking for a sacred time out; a place to return to center and leave all that ails you physically and emotionally in the hands of someone trained to alleviate stress across all levels of being, I invite you to check out my services page and book the session that most speaks to you.
