Yesterday, we proudly celebrated Veterans Day, taking time to honor the incredible men and women among our residents who have bravely served our country. From the Army and Navy to the Air Force and Marines, each veteran shared their stories where they served, what they did, and the memories that shaped them.

Hearing their experiences was truly inspiring, reminding us that freedom isn’t free and that their courage continues to light our path today. ❤️🤍💙

We’re honored to introduce Sykena Evans, LCSW-QS, our new Psychotherapist at Coral Bay. With more than 20 years of experience in mental health, medical social work, and geriatric psychotherapy, Sykena brings a powerful combination of clinical skill and heartfelt compassion to every interaction.

For nearly four years, she has served residents and families within the Midwest Post Acute Healthcare system, helping individuals navigate life transitions, emotional adjustment, grief, and personal growth with dignity and care.

Sykena believes that healing happens when people feel seen, respected, and empowered, values she carries into every space she serves. Outside of work, she treasures time with her husband and three children, building memories rooted in love, laughter, and togetherness.

We’re grateful to have her as part of the Coral Bay family, where every story matters, and every person deserves to feel whole.
