Happy Valentine's Day, from our house to yours!!!! ❤️
Yesterday, our friends at Shelton Manor enjoyed their Valentine's Party with some yummy snacks and a couple of games of balloon tic tac toe and matching famous couples. We want to thank our community friends for bringing beautiful roses for each resident from the Escambia County Retired Teacher's Association; beautiful homemade Valentine's cards from the students in the 4H club and the Tate High School students in the Beta club; thank you to our friends from the Molino Homemakers Club for bringing over cute goody bags filled with tissue, chap stick, hand sanitizer and candy. We love our community friends!!!! I also want to thank my wonderful volunteers Ms Kathy Jacobs , I cannot dovthe fun parties without you! Thank you to my other volunteer Erin McClain and her mom for bringing everyone chocolate heart candy!!!! And finally, thank you to my wonderful co-workers Iseha and Tiffany Edmonson-Alvare for helping me to prepare to snack foods for our party!!!

Gulf Coast Christian Church brought some fun games, prizes and goody bags for our residents at Shelton Manor to enjoy on this beautiful Saturday morning!!! Thank you friends!!!! We had a great time today!!!!!

Happy New Year Shelton Manor families and friends!!!!
Today, on New Years Eve my friends and I enjoyed our regular Wednesday Balloon Tennis game with a couple of new friends joining in with us. Before lunch they wanted to do karaoke, so we sung the rest of the morning away. After lunch, they wanted to play a game of New Years Eve BINGO. And then we ended our very active day with some music from the 60's while snacking on chips, salsa, popcorn and Penguin Coladas (that's a non-alcoholic Pina colada).

This Day was Wonderful!
We enjoyed serving our residents a special three course Christmas Candlelight Lunch with live entertainment throughout the meal. The saxophone music was absolutely beautiful and the food was amazing!
Thank you to all our staff and volunteers who helped make this day extra special for our residents.

We had a very busy day today! We had a beautiful Candlelight luncheon with live music for our residents lunch, then in the afternoon our friend MGySgt USMC Bob Rivera brought a brand new music group to Shelton Manor called The Goats Ukulele Club. They were so wonderful!!!! We asked them to please come back! So much fun with all of our friends!!! Tomorrow, we have a friend coming to play hand bells for us!!!! ❤️ 🔔
