This is Cedars of Lebanon gospel duo. Rodney and Brianna Dodd. Rodney does all of the multi instrument music arrangements for their songs. Many of their song lyrics comes straight from scripture.They were so amazing!!!

A new husband and wife gospel singing duo called, Cedars of Lebanon came to Shelton Manor on Saturday! All I can say is, WOW! They were amazing and we will have them back again!!! Thank you Rodney and Brianna Dodd for sharing the love of our Lord through praise and worship music!!!! Two of their music videos will follow this post.

Easter video # 2 Pass The Egg

Easter Fun Game of Pass The Egg. With this game, each resident starts out with an egg with a number on it. As the music plays, they pass their eggs to the left and keeps passing until the music stops. I draw a number and whoever has that number has to do what is written on the piece of paper inside. This made for a lot of laughs as you can tell in this video , just how engaged Ms. K. Decided to take her egg task.

On Friday, our friends at Shelton Manor spent the morning playing several fun Easter games that included Pass The Egg, Chick and Rabbit Race, Put The Egg Back Together and Find Jesus and The Crosss (our version of an Easter Egg Hunt). Instead of finding eggs, our residents looked for crosses and the "golden egg" was a Little Jesus figurine. We ended our Easter activity with some delicious ice cream with a Peep on top! We want to send out a big Thank You to our friends at Highland Baptist Church and the students at our 4H Club for making Easter Treat Bags full of goodies for our residents!!!! They loved them!!!! I also want to say Thank You to our wonderful volunteer, Mrs Kathy for always helping me with these very active events!!!!I will be making several posts of our Easter activity videos and pictures as I can only post one video at a time. We, at Shelton Manor wish all of you a very Blessed Easter!
