Here’s a little injector tip I’ll always stand by. Coming from plastics, this one was drilled into us early on. My former boss, a plastic surgeon, would remind us during post-op care that if you see bleeding at an injection site, the best thing you can do is hold pressure.
If a spot starts to bleed, place your gauze and hold firm pressure for a full sixty seconds. Don’t peek. Don’t lift. Don’t recheck. Every time you lift the gauze, you disrupt the clot and increase the chance of bruising.
Be patient, hold steady, and your bruise will be incredibly minimal. It’s simple, effective, and truly a game changer in your technique.
