Hard to believe it’s been 20 years since Adam joined the team! Funny how life works — I actually first met him when he came to me as a patient, then ran into him by chance at the hospital pharmacy right when I was looking for a new assistant. He had a background in athletic training and sports medicine, and the timing couldn’t have been better. God definitely had a hand in that one.

Back in 2006, Adam was a brand-new dad starting a new job — and he’s been with me ever since. He’s the longest-standing member of our team and a big part of any success I’ve had over the last 25 years in practice. We’ve been through it all — from insurance headaches to building our direct care model — and he’s been rock solid every step of the way.

Patients adore him, even if they sometimes forget his name. He just answers to anything and rolls with it — his calm, easygoing demeanor always makes people feel welcome. He’s a devoted husband to Molly, a proud dad to two wonderful daughters, and truly like family to me.

He always jokes that when I’m ready to retire, he’s ready too — but thankfully, we’re both still having too much fun doing what we love.

Here’s to 20 years of hard work, good stories, and plenty more ahead!

Honored to be part of the international gathering of podiatrists and orthopedists this past week at The Academy of Minimally Invasive Foot & Ankle Surgery Annual Conference and Cadaver Lab.

Loved catching up with colleagues and classmates as well as making new friends. Appreciate the opportunity to present a lecture about direct specialty care to the surgeons. The passion, innovation, and sense of community here remind us why we love what we do.

A big shout out to Ann Dosen, the executive director for AMIFAS for coordinating and planning a fabulous event as well as Brandon, who ran the A/V at the event. Additionally, congratulations to Dr. Brant McCartan as he completed his tenure as president, to Dr. Trevor Haynes as he is handed the reins to lead the Academy and to Dr. Shazia Malik, scientific chair for this year's conference.
