Microneedling season has entered the chat. 💉🧖‍♀️😎

What Microneedling Is:

1. Minimally Invasive — Microneedling involves the use of fine needles to create micro-injuries in the skin.

2. Collagen Induction Therapy — It stimulates collagen and elastin production, promoting skin healing and rejuvenation.

3. Used for Various Skin Concerns — Effective for treating acne scars, wrinkles, enlarged pores, and uneven skin texture.

4. Professional Treatment — Typically performed by licensed professionals in a professional setting.

5. Short Recovery Time — Most people experience minor redness and swelling, with limited downtime.

6. Customizable — Treatments can be tailored to individual skin types and concerns, including needle depth and serums used.

What Microneedling Is Not:

1. A Surgical Procedure — It does not involve incisions or deep surgical techniques; it is non-surgical and less invasive.

2. Instant Fix — Results are not immediate; improvements develop over weeks as collagen production increases.

3. Painful — While there may be some discomfort, the use of topical anesthetics makes the procedure relatively painless.

4. One-Size-Fits-All — It is not a universal solution; results vary based on individual skin type and condition.

5. A Substitute for Other Treatments — Microneedling is not a replacement for other skincare procedures like chemical peels or laser treatments but can complement them.

6. At-Home Treatment — Professional microneedling is recommended for safety and effectiveness; at-home devices carry risks if not used properly.

Autumn is licensed in microneedling (Morpheus8) and can be booked for this service at Bodyworks of Perdido Key every Thursday! This treatment is a game changer and we are thrilled to offer this service to our clients and Perdido.
