My name is Rebecca and I’ve been a yoga teacher since 2011. I got trained in Cahuita, Costa Rica. (Ask me about my yoga teacher training and why we called it, “yoga jail.” )
I love teaching yoga. My favorite part is seeing the faces of students after class. There is a lightness there that’s hard to explain. A softening of the shoulders and the eyes. A softer yet stronger posture as they walk.
I’m also a mom, divorcee, new wife, music teacher, writer, and homeschool mama (year 1) to name a few.
Am I perfect? Far from it. I struggle. Sometimes I show up to teach feeling like a champ and other times I have to huff essential oils and remind myself I can do it.
What’s the point of me sharing this??? I want you to know I’m human too. I want to hear about your joys and struggles AND do yoga with you. You’re more than just a student when you come to class. You’re a gorgeous fellow human that I respect and wish to know.
Will you join us this week?
Thanks to for always having just the right dress.
Thank you for making me feel comfy cozy behind a camera!
