We are grateful for the opportunity to spend time with the GE Healthcare team at their Waukesha headquarters alongside fellow Baptist Health Care leaders. We explored innovative technologies and workflows designed to elevate patient safety, outcomes, and the overall care experience.

The flexibility around insights, reporting, and alerts stood out as powerful tools to support timely, informed clinical decisions. We also gained valuable perspective on GE’s technology roadmap and toured the Healthcare Technology Institute, where biomedical technicians sharpen their skills using real-world medical equipment — an impressive investment in the future of healthcare!

Thankful for a strong partnership that enables both organizations to deliver meaningful insights and continue shaping how care is provided in an ever-changing healthcare landscape. We are looking forward to what’s ahead as we work together to make healthcare smarter, safer, and more connected.

Reduce the Risks.
Take precautions to reduce heart disease. Smoking, eating an unhealthy diet and not having adequate exercise can lead to heart issues. If you smoke, find a cessation program and support group to help you quit. Set a quitting date to help the goal be more attainable. Eat fresh foods often and avoid labels with a long list of ingredients. Plan meals ahead of time. Waiting until the last minute to eat, often leads to unhealthy choices. Exercise regularly. Go for a short, brisk walk daily. Take the stairs instead of an elevator. This will boost your activity, immunity and mood.
