One of my favorite things about spring is the way that plants push through whatever is on top of them. They push through the leaves and the dirt and all the muck. And then they bloom and are vivaciously green! Humans do that, too.

Many of you reading this probably do that daily. The difference is, these plants take a whole season to rest and regroup! Could you imagine!!

Instead, many of us feel guilty for taking a day here and there to spend on ourselves. I mean there's laundry to wash, dishes to do, a closet that could be cleaned, and on and on and on.

This Spring, can we all take a lesson from plants. Make time for yourself a priority. And not in the judgy way like "well I didn't do anything so I was just lazy and it wasn't self care." If it refills you to do nothing, DO NOTHING!!!!

So, let's make this Spring a start to a new normal, where self care is mandatory and expected.

If you made it this far, there's a reason. Pull out your calendar or schedule right now and block out time for you!

Really, do it.

Don't keep scrolling until you have. Imagine what it will feel like to be growing through the muck, refreshed!
