Know when enough is enough! You do not have to suffer through heavy periods. It is important to know how much is too much. Not only is heavy bleeding a nuisance, but it can also indicate underlying medical conditions. Make sure to schedule an appointment with your gynecologist to evaluate your symptoms. Keep in mind; completely saturating a pad in less than an hour or passing large clots means an ER visit.
