At SHARKKS Therapy we offer Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy services. Our clients are tre Clinic and home visits available.

Call for same day appointments. We do see patients by appointment on Saturdays, we are closed on Sundays. All appointments will be scheduled within 48 hours. We perform comprehensive evaluations with customized daily treatment plans. With COVID-19, all patients and families will be required to wear a mask over their nose and mouth, take a temperature and sanitize upon entering our facility. Each work station and equipment utilized is sanitized between sessions.

🎃Pumpkin Painting with Purpose! 🎨

This week in OT, we’re bringing a little fall fun into our sessions with pumpkin painting!

Not only is this a festive sensory activity, it’s also a great way to build important skills:

✋ Fine motor - holding brushes, squeezing paint, and stabilizing pumpkins

👀 Visual-motor coordination - tracking where to paint and staying in the lines

💭 Executive function - planning designs, following steps, and finishing projects

😊 Sensory regulation - exploring textures, colors, and creative expression

Each masterpiece is as unique as our kiddos!

Meet Cam and Justin!

Cam is completing her program to become a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant through Pima Medical Institute. She is an Arizona native and is super passionate about helping others and working with people!

Justin currently is finishing up his education through Huntington University to become a Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD). He really enjoys the creativity involved in the realm of OT and knows that there is always room for innovation and more education!

Sharkks would like to introduce to you our most recent rotation of students! Meet !

Megan Erickson (left) is an Occupational Therapy Assistant student at Pima Medical Institute in Mesa, AZ. She is originally from Montana and was inspired to return to school to pursue a meaningful career in occupational therapy. She is passionate about working with individuals recovering from injury or illness, as well as supporting children with developmental needs.

Megan Johns (right) is a master-level OT student at Midwestern University. She found her passion for occupational therapy by being a patient herself. After discharging as a patient, she decided to apply for OT school and plans to graduate this October!

🚨‼️ GREAT NEWS!

Sharkks Therapy wants to introduce to you to StemWave!

StemWave is an FDA listed medical device that utilized harmless, yet powerful acoustic waves to activate the body’s natural healing mechanisms. This non-invasive treatment option was designed to help patients that are dealing with musculoskeletal conditions that are related to pain and inflammation.
