We honored Veterans Day with a beautiful pinning ceremony at Ridges at Peoria Senior Living at Garden Ridge, Arbor Ridge and Senita Ridge. The event was hosted by our life enrichment teams in partnership with Agave Hospice and Palliative Care. A color guard presented the ceremony, pinning each of our veterans and giving them a certificate in recognition of their service. Our favorite entertainer, Randolph, filled the room with his beautiful voice and made the afternoon even more special.

We are deeply grateful for the veterans who call our community home, as well as the family members of residents who have served. It was a meaningful day of remembrance, recognition and gratitude. Thank you to all who joined us in honoring the brave men and women who have defended our freedom. 🇺🇸✨

As we approach Veterans Day, we honor Joe and Eddie. Two Purple Heart recipients whose courage shaped history. Joe enlisted on his graduation day in 1943. Eddie volunteered to scout a minefield in Italy. Our blog shares their remarkable stories of sacrifice and the lives they built after the war.

We share the stories of two Purple Heart recipients about their WWII combat stories. Joe and Eddie call The Goodman Group managed communities home, inspiring all who meet them.

We recently had a beautiful and very powerful portrait session at Arbor Ridge to recognize and honor the fight of cancer. We invited the fighters and survivors from our community, and it was very emotional, inspirational and powerful to hear their stories and experiences.

Our November Garden Ridge Team Member of the Month is Liz A.! She has been part of Ridges at Peoria Senior Living for 11 years! During her time with us, her genuine, caring personality and kind smile have left a lasting impression on both residents and team members. As a valued member of our housekeeping team, Liz was nominated for this recognition due to her hard work, dedication and genuine care for our residents.

What a night! Our Autumn Nights celebration was an incredible success — all thanks to our amazing residents, families and guests who came out to enjoy the fun! 🎶✨Seeing everyone laughing, dancing, and making memories together brought our team so much joy. As we welcomed the autumn season, residents enjoyed a festive craft making sherpa ghosts. With just a few simple supplies, everyone was able to add their own personality to their creation.

The best part was seeing how different each ghost turned out, especially the faces that gave them so much character. No two were alike!
