This husband-and-wife duo advocates for mental health and wellness on a daily basis. Xavier Jenkins is a licensed counselor, and Mrs. Jenkins is a community advocate for mental health, serving as a Human Services commissioner for her city in our great state of Arizona! Mentally Anonymous at the Arizona State Capitol🇺🇸🪖

Yesterday, our team continued our movement for mental wellness at the Arizona State Capitol, standing alongside veteran Representative Stacey Travers and Representative Quantá Crews to advocate for greater mental health awareness and support for veterans.

Director of Strategic Initiatives Joysaphine Waitman-Powell shared our mission of Awareness, Advocacy, Accompanying those within the veteran community. Board President Ace Carter, a decorated veteran himself, delivered heartfelt remarks honoring those who served and reminding us of the courage it takes to keep fighting for wellness every day.

We were joined by veteran families from our Mentally Anonymous community, united in purpose and prayer led by our Founder Dr. Powell II for those who continue to carry unseen battles long after their service ends.

At Mentally Anonymous, we remain committed to this mission because Mental Wellness Matters. 💚

Honoring Our Heroes | Veterans Day 2025 🇺🇸

This past Veterans Day, before the City of Peoria’s Annual Veterans Day Ceremony, Mentally Anonymous hosted a press conference highlighting the importance of mental wellness among veterans and the power of community support.

We are deeply honored that one of our own veterans from the Mentally Anonymous community was added to the Peoria Veterans Honor Wall, a reminder that healing, hope, and honor go hand in hand.

Our Director of Strategic Iniatives Joysaphine Waitman-Powell and our President Ace Carter, a decorated veteran himself made remarks about what this moment meant to the veterans of Mentally Anonymous.

Our mission remains clear: Mental Wellness Matters. Together, we continue to uplift those who have served, ensuring that every veteran knows they are seen, valued, and supported not only for their service, but for their journey of wellness and restoration.

Join Mentally Anonymous as we come together in unity, gratitude, and wellness to honor our veterans at the City of Peoria Veterans Day Ceremony. This community gathering will take place at Rio Vista Community Park in Peoria, Arizona to support and uplift those who served, celebrate legacy, and stand for mental wellness.

This year’s ceremony holds special meaning for us. We are honored that one of our very own veterans from the Mentally Anonymous family will be added to the Peoria Veterans Honor Wall. We will stand proudly and reflectively as their service and sacrifice are permanently memorialized.

We are also privileged to be joined by our Board President, a respected veteran himself, who will share words of honor, hope, and encouragement. We will also be paying honor to all veterans who sign up for our tribute. Sign up or sign your beloved veteran up below!

🧠✨ Mentally Anonymous in Eloy, Arizona! ✨🧠

We had the incredible opportunity to join the City of Eloy for their Eloy Talks: General Plan Community Development Workshop. In this space, community voices came together to envision a brighter, healthier future.

Our focus? Mentally healthy communities that thrive. 🌱💬

Our Director of Strategic Initiatives, Joysaphine Waitman-Powell, and Mentally Anonymous volunteer and community leader Mr. Loren Broussard were in attendance. We connected with Eloy’s Mayor and the City’s Community Development Director to discuss the importance of mental wellness in planning, revitalization, and community life.

From increasing job opportunities to revitalizing parks and downtown spaces, we’re inspired by Eloy’s commitment to growth and inclusion.

We’re grateful for the chance to support conversations that center people first, because when communities are mentally well, everyone wins.
