Angella is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) specializing in racial, corporate, and complex trauma and she is trained in EMDR. She also specializes in church hurt and women's issues. She is a strong advocate for mental health care for underserved groups and is highly involved in our local mental health and Christian communities. This past week, we are so blessed to have had the opportunity to come together as an organization and spend time with Dave Bucknam's daughters in fellowship and remembrance of Dave, and we are so grateful to be a community of believers who come together to share our faith and to live out service to God and to our community, of which Dave was a wonderful model. Knowing that we are created for community, we are thankful to not only work together, but to pray together and, when called, to grieve together. While we support one another in continuing the work Dave loved, we also continue to request prayer for his family and loved ones as they mourn the loss of a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

On Wednesday evening, The Antioch Group unexpectedly lost a dear friend and treasured colleague, Dave Bucknam. Dave was a gifted clinician and a man of deep and abiding faith who touched the lives of countless individuals and couples. While we know that Dave has already been welcomed into rest in his Father's loving arms, we pray for comfort, peace, and provision for his family, friends, clients, and faith community at Northwoods Community Church and for Dave's life to continue to be a beautiful example of abiding love and service to God.

Tonight 24 years ago, 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights.

2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning.

343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift.

60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol.

8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift.

It was the last day that fathers and mothers hugged their children, husbands kissed their wife, girlfriends hugged and kissed their boyfriend.

None of them saw past 10:00AM on September 11, 2001.

In one single moment life may never be the same, so live and enjoy the breaths you take today.

And tonight, before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted.
