Meet Ginger’s baby sister, Coco! She just finished 4 months of facility dog training and is ready to join Ginger bringing smiles to our patients! 🐾

She is a mini-Goldendoodle and does not shed or bite, just bringing love to our patients and trained to bring extra love and support to anyone feeling anxious. We look forward to having her meet you and your family! 🐶

✨ Before & After: Deep Bite + Spacing Correction ✨

Just another beautiful transformation!
Our friend was concerned about his deep bite and spacing concerns, and look at the difference now. 🙌

But why is it so important to correct a deep bite?

A deep bite isnt just a cosmetic issue, it CAN and WILL create real problems over time...

🦷 Wear on the lower teeth:
When the top teeth overlap too far they press heavily on the lower front teeth causing excessive wear and long term damage.

🦷 Pressure on the gums and tissue:
Irritating the gums and causing discomfort and/or recession.

🦷 Crowding and imbalance in the lower arch:
A deep bite can push the lower teeth inward, leading to crowding, shifting, and instability.

Correcting a deep bite helps protect the teeth, support healthier gums,and create a balanced comfortable bite.

🎉 Meet Our Newest Therapy Dog, Coco! 🐾

Hello everyone! We have someone very special we’d love for you to meet who will be joining the team early next year.

This adorable fluffball is Coco — Ginger’s baby sister and the newest member of our comfort crew at Teeters Orthodontics and Kidz-R-Kool Pediatric Dentistry! 💛

Coco is a mini-Goldendoodle, professionally trained with one very important job:
✨ to make our patients feel calm, comforted, and cared for.

Whether it’s a first-time visit or a big milestone appointment, Coco loves greeting patients with gentle snuggles, soft paws, and a whole lot of love. She brings warmth, smiles, and a wagging tail that makes every visit feel just a little easier, and a whole lot happier.

We can’t wait for you to meet Coco in person! She’s already settling in beautifully and is so excited to be part of our dental and orthodontic family.

✨ Can You Spot What’s Missing? ✨

If you guessed two permanent teeth, you’re right! 😆
But do you know which ones?

There are many reasons an orthodontist may recommend removing permanent teeth: Crowding, bite imbalance or just creating space for proper alignment.

While aesthetics does matter, our biggest goal is to create a healthy, functional, long lasting bite.

and sometimes removing two permanent teeth is the best option for long term stability.

But it’s important to remember:
Before any permanent teeth are removed, you should always be evaluated by an orthodontist. The “why” behind extractions matters and once those teeth are gone, it’s not simple (or cheap!) to get them back.

Thanksgiving was basically designed for soft foods only anyway. 🦃
Eat all the mashed, baked, soft, warm deliciousness… avoid the crunchy rebels… and if a bracket breaks?
It’s okay. We’ll rescue it after the holiday.
