Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for everyone who helped make our Veterans Day celebration so meaningful. 🇺🇸💛 A special thank-you to Paula Mitchell for organizing such a heartfelt program, and to Chief Master Sergeant (Ret.) Sandra Harris, Rev. Dr. Kenneth Mitchell Sr., Janice Owens, and Scout Troop #747 Pack 276 for joining us in honoring our heroes.

We’re also so thankful for our amazing kitchen team and Chef for preparing a delicious lunch, and to our Executive Director, Holly, for her leadership and support in making the day so memorable.

Thank you to everyone who came together to celebrate and honor those who have served our country, your contributions made this day truly special!

Today, on Veterans Day, we pause to honor and thank all who have served our nation with courage, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion.

Over the past week, we’ve proudly shared stories from veterans across our MorningStar communities. Each one is a powerful reminder of what it means to serve something greater than oneself.

We are deeply honored to have so many veterans call MorningStar home. Their stories, wisdom, and pride in service continue to inspire us every day. From all of us at MorningStar - thank you, veterans, for your bravery and your lasting legacy of love and service.

Cheers to Learning Something New! 🍾

Cheers to learning something new! A big thank you to Clay from Desert Valley Hospice & Palliative Care for visiting MorningStar at Golden Ridge and giving our residents a fun and bubbly MSU class on Champagne 101. Everyone had a wonderful time learning about the history, varieties, and traditions behind this sparkling favorite and of course, enjoying a little taste.

Halloween Fun!

Residents had such a fun evening passing out candy to trick-or-treaters! We loved seeing our neighbors, family members, staff, and friends stop by for some Halloween fun. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a sweet night full of smiles and treats!

Halloween Party Fun!

Our residents and staff had a spooktacular time at our Halloween Party! We enjoyed great food prepared by our talented chef, danced to live music with Lorenzo, and had a blast with our costume contest, mummy wrap contest, and pumpkin decorating contest. It was a frightfully fun day filled with laughter, music, and memories to wrap up the Halloween season. Congratulations to our housekeeper Ellena for winning the pumpkin decorating contest!

Who's Going To Win The Pumpkin Decorating Contest!

Our residents have the spookiest challenge yet, voting for their favorite pumpkin! The staff went all out and really showed off their creative side with some fun designs. The winner will be revealed at our Halloween Party…stay tuned to see who takes the crown!

Boo Bingo Fun!

We had a spooktacular evening of Boo Bingo where residents enjoyed a night filled with laughter, fun prizes, and sweet treats- all while raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association! A big thank you to our amazing chef for the delicious appetizers and to everyone who joined in to make the night such a success. What a great way to celebrate the season and support a wonderful cause!
