🌿✨ Spicing up nutrition education ✨🌿

OSF Dietetic Intern Esther added flavor and fun by creating take-home spice kits for patients and their loved ones.

Each kit included simple recipes and creative ideas to help make everyday meals more flavorful while incorporating antioxidant-rich spices. 🌶️🧄

Small changes in the kitchen can make a big difference. Adding herbs and spices is an easy way to boost flavor, enjoy food more and support overall wellness during a cancer journey.

First-ever Cooking with the Doc class at OSF Cancer Institute brought patients and loved ones together for a fun, hands-on experience in the Teaching Kitchen.

Edward E. Cho, MD, hepatobiliary surgeon, nurse navigator Abby Getz and dietitians Jeanna and Gabby guided the group through healthy, high-protein twists on pizza—proving you can enjoy favorites and stay on track. Laughter, learning and great food filled the kitchen.

Join us in congratulating Josh Fisher, a student at Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing, on receiving the Sister M. Bernardine Award. Josh was recognized yesterday in front of classmates, faculty and staff for reflecting the mission and values that define our culture of care.

This award is part of the newly launched Mission Service Awards, created to honor students and Mission Partners who make a meaningful impact on patients, our community and each other. Recipients are nominated by peers and leaders and recognized monthly for their dedication to serving others with compassion.

Whether you’re looking to enjoy the outdoors, meet new friends, or play a round of golf, this league is for you. Play begins Wednesday, April 1, weather permitting, at Kellogg Executive 9 in Peoria, with tee times starting at 3:52 p.m. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome.

Membership is $20 and includes Peoria Park District league fees, prizes throughout the season, and awards at the closing banquet. (Green and cart fees are separate. Walking is always an option.)

After 38 years of dedicated service, Kevin Kemper is retiring from his role as Boiler Operator in Facilities Maintenance Engineering Administration.

Kevin has spent nearly four decades helping keep our facilities safe and reliable, ensuring critical building systems run smoothly every day. His experience, dedication and commitment have made a lasting impact on the team.

We thank Kevin for his many years of service and wish him a happy and well-deserved retirement. His last day with us is April 3. 👏👏
