I still see her sometimes.
When I look in the mirror, I still occasionally see the 220lb version of myself from 2023. But then I look at these photos and realize how far I’ve actually come.
My journey started with the MAMELE challenge where I lost my first 20+ lbs. But then, the scale stopped moving. I hit a plateau that felt impossible to break, and I realized it wasn’t just about the workouts—it was about my brain.
I decided to try a GLP-1, and it was the missing piece of the puzzle. It didn’t just “melt fat”; it changed how my brain communicates with my body. For the first time, I could actually hear my “full” cues. The emotional eating stopped, and I was finally able to consistently choose the healthier habits I always wanted to have.
Today, I’m 85lbs down and 46 inches smaller. But the best part? I can move. Everything is easier. I’m not just smaller; I’m freer.
