We had an amazing time at the AZ Quilting Expo 2026 held at Martins Auto Museum truly a one-of-a-kind experience! From stunning handmade quilts to an incredible collection of classic automobiles, there was a little something for everyone.

Whether you’re a car enthusiast, an art lover, or just looking for a unique outing, this museum delivers. Our Sierra Winds residents loved exploring the exhibits and sharing the experience together!

🍀 Eat, drink, and be Irish! 🍀

Our St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Sierra Winds was full of fun, laughter, and plenty of shenanigans thanks to the generous support of Summit Healthcare Services!

From delicious traditional Irish food to lively Irish music, the day was packed with festive spirit. Everyone showed up in style, rocking their best green outfits and leprechaun-inspired looks! 💚

It was truly a fantastic time filled with smiles, community, and a little bit of Irish luck. ☘️

✨ Resident Spotlight: Bob and Alice ✨

Some couples quietly settle into retirement. Bob and Alice? Not a chance.

Within a month of moving to Sierra Winds, Alice was already leading activities and Bob’s plan to “finally relax” lasted about 30 days. Today, they’re busy chairing committees, organizing events, leading singing groups, visiting neighbors in the health center, and still making time to laugh with friends in the Bistro Café.

From Bob’s childhood near Yellowstone spotting wildlife, to Alice’s Chicago roots and their whirlwind seven-month courtship, their story is full of adventure, leadership, and community. After nearly a decade at Sierra Winds, they’ve woven themselves into the heart of the community.

Their favorite part of living here? The relationships.
As Bob says, “It’s truly family. The problems, the joys, the physical challenges we go through them together.”

Today we were pleasantly surprised when the Desert Glow Farmers Market popped up at Sierra Winds! 🌵☀️ It was so fun to see so many amazing vendors set up and sharing their goods with our community.

🍀 We had such a fun time at our St. Patrick’s Day art class! From shamrock paintings to festive mugs, everyone created some colorful and creative pieces. It was a great day filled with laughter, creativity, and a little extra luck. 🎨
