Our yoga pose for the week is Thread the Needle! This pose helps stretch your arms, shoulders, and spine. Start on all fours, then lift one arm up and reach to the opposite side. Hold this position for two to three breaths, then relax. If getting on all fours if difficult, this pose can be done on a wide bench or on a bed.

We've been having some extremely cold weather with more to come in the next few days! Here are some tips to avoid frostbite and take care of yourself this winter, especially when outside for extend periods of time. Should your fingers, ears, or nose become red or white from cold, remove any wet clothes and run warm water over the area. If you have an area that becomes dark and very numb and stiff, wrap the area with a bandage and seek medical care.
