Dear Pepin Labyrinth Community~
One of the quiet joys of the labyrinth this time of year is the return of birdsong just outside our doors. Spring is awakening, and their songs seem to welcome us into this season of gentle renewal—an invitation to honor our bodies as they, too, begin to open and soften with the warming air.

We would love to see you in the studio soon. Our regular classes are here to support you, and our Tuesday evening class continues to grow into a gentle and welcoming space. If mornings don’t fit your rhythm, I warmly invite you to join us Tuesdays at 5:30. You may just find yourself floating home—restored, grounded, and ready for the week ahead.
Much love,
Marie 💗

Dear Friends,
We have a full week of classes and offerings for you as we close out February.

Have you ever been curious about Tai Chi or wondered why this gentle practice is so widely loved? On Thursday morning we’re welcoming a guest teacher for a special introductory class. While Lynn is on vacation, Mary Anne Beers will join us to share T’ai Chi Flow, along with Qigong practices to cultivate internal energy and grounded awareness. She has been studying and practicing Qigong and Tai Chi for over 20 years, and we’re truly fortunate to have her with us.

On Tuesday, in addition to our regular Chair Yoga and Morning Flow, Marie will offer an evening Candlelight Yoga class.

Wednesday evening, Espoir returns with movement and dance.

We’d love to see you on the floor.

Marie💗

Dear Community~

There has been a great deal of rearranging lately, with many changes unfolding all around us. The recent disruptions in Minneapolis have impacted my family through daycare and school closures, and like so many of you during this time of upheaval, I am needing to adjust my schedule.

We will continue to hold classes in the studio. I will be in the Cities supporting family from Wednesday through Sunday and will be here to teach on Tuesdays. Please note that our evening Candlelight class will take place on Tuesday evening, and Chair Yoga will be offered once a week on Tuesday morning.

We are very fortunate to have Lynn anchoring us with her popular and deeply meaningful Thursday class.

Thank you so much for your understanding and flexibility—it is truly appreciated.

With gratitude,
Marie💗

To be hopeful in bad times is not just foolishly romantic. It is based on the fact that human history is a history not only of cruelty, but also of compassion, sacrifice, courage, kindness.

What we choose to emphasize in this complex history will determine our lives. If we see only the worst, it destroys our capacity to do something. If we remember those times and places—and there are so many—where people have behaved magnificently, this gives us the energy to act, and at least the possibility of sending this spinning top of a world in a different direction.

And if we do act, in however small a way, we don’t have to wait for some grand utopian future. The future is an infinite succession of presents, and to live now as we think human beings should live, in defiance of all that is bad around us, is itself a marvelous victory.

Dear Friends of Pepin Labyrinth,

It’s been a whirlwind of activities with family and friends, and I enjoyed every minute of it. And if you are like me, it feels good to return to a familiar schedule. The New Year is always a beautiful time to begin again—with a fresh start, renewed intentions, and new beginnings. I invite you to make yoga part of your weekly rhythm.

All levels are welcome. If you are new and would like guidance on where to begin, please feel free to email me and we can talk about your goals, or simply come and try a class. Both Lynn and I are happy to accommodate beginners and thoughtfully incorporate what you need into each class.

We look forward to welcoming the New Year with you.

With warmth,

Marie💗

May we be fully present to those we love this Christmas as we share and build precious memories together. Beautiful, wonder filled moments blessed with love, joy and peace. Tender moments to be cherished and treasured now and always. This wholesome, loving and fully, undivided attention, this beautiful gift of presence is the greatest gift we can ever bestow upon, or receive from those we love.

Greetings dear community~
Happy December! I’ve seen some exquisite pictures of the snow. I hope you have been enjoying it. I’ve been in the cities for an extended weekend, and it was a bit blustery but the driving has been quite easy and the cold has been manageable, even delightful in our winter boots and warm sweaters.
We look forward to seeing you for regular classes in December.
See you soon,
Marie💗

Dear friends of the Pepin Labyrinth Yoga Studio,

Happy Thanksgiving. May your day be filled with abundance, nourishment, and the joy of connecting with your chosen family.

We will hold our regular classes on Tuesday, but the studio will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. Below is the December schedule, where we will continue with all regular offerings, including our Thursday evening Candlelight Yoga class.

As Charlie Brown reminds us, “What if today, we were just grateful for everything?”

With gratitude,

Marie💗

Dear Pepin Labyrinth community,

Happy November!

As you know, many families in our community experience food insecurity. The current government shutdown has only exacerbated the problem.

That is why, for the month of November, we will be collecting food and funds for the Food Pantry.

When you attend class, please bring items to donate for this cause.
For our part, Pepin Labyrinth will be donating all of the proceeds for this month to the Food Pantry.

Examples of items you can donate
• Non-perishable food
• Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels)
• Personal hygiene (tampons, toothpaste, soap, toothbrushes)

As a community, we can take our yoga “off the mat” and help those in need.

Dāna (दान): The general term for giving, generosity, or charity.

With a deep caring,
Lynn and Marie
