Tracking can be triggering. Especially when we used it to eat as little as possible. It can also be very helpful in understanding and expanding our education on nutrition.

I used to have a very hard time tracking. I would become too obsessive over the numbers. I can track now periodically because I really changed my mindset around tracking. I’m no longer obsessed with hitting a number. Instead I use it as a tool to see what I’m missing and what I could add to my diet.

There are reasons you may want to track that have nothing to do with weight loss. Getting a better idea of what food is made up of, could be a huge advantage for you.
