“As a student-athlete at Perkins-Tryon High School, Dylan Davison is a member of the varsity football team in his final year of prep football.
'Being a student-athlete in Perkins is amazing. The community and teachers are always very supportive on and off the field and it feels like a family environment all the time. Growing up I played a lot of travel basketball and I started playing football in fifth grade. I started kicking and punting in seventh grade and that’s when I really started to take football serious,' said Davidson."

"Head coach Dawayne Hudson says that his squad brings back a lot of talent and should have a solid year. 'We are coming off back-to-back 9-3 state quarterfinal appearances,' he said. 'We are looking to make another run at it this season. We have a good senior class coming back with a good mixture of underclassmen as well.'"
